Fundamental Differences
Tonight, Kandis and I were driving home from a family outing. We were approaching a green light that other drivers took as a signal to slow down (a common occurrence in Austin). My typical reaction in this situation would have been to pound the steering wheel and begin screaming profanities, wondering why everyone was out to ruin my drive. Kandis, however, took it as an opportunity to see what new stores had moved into the area since we last passed through. I’m sure there’s a Zen lesson in there somewhere.
